Meet Lizette
We are always somewhere in transition — moving through one, or just out of one. But the big ones, the ones that reshape everything, sometimes need real support to get through.
How I Got Here
I know what it feels like when the ground shifts beneath you without warning.
In 2005, 16 days before my wedding day, my fiancé was in a serious accident. The wedding never happened, and the life I’d planned changed overnight.
It was tough to find stability after this, so I left to start a new life abroad — a fresh chapter, in a country that slowly became home.
Then in 2011, that home was taken from me too. A diplomatic disagreement between countries meant my position was abruptly closed, and I had 48 hours to leave — permanently, with no return.
Back home with no job waiting, I sent out over 180 applications, sat through 25 interviews, and still faced months of silence.
It took time — years, honestly — before I found my way to healing, and to qualifying myself in EMDR, Life Coaching and eight Complementary Modalities.
By 2016/2017, I was finally living my purpose: helping others navigate the very transitions that had once undone me.
Some of these transitions I’ve walked through myself. Others — midlife changes, the empty nest that comes when children grow and go — I’ve walked closely alongside the people I love and the clients I’ve served, closely enough to know their weight.
Whatever door has closed for you — a career, a relationship, a chapter of who you thought you’d always be — I understand what it takes to walk through the gap that follows.
How that shapes how I coach
That season of my life taught me something I now bring into every coaching relationship: transitions don’t ask permission, and they rarely arrive on a convenient timeline. What matters isn’t how quickly you bounce back — it’s whether you have the right support to make sense of where you are, and the clarity to choose your next step deliberately, rather than out of panic.
I don’t believe in rushing anyone through grief, uncertainty, or reinvention. I believe in walking alongside you — asking the right questions, holding space for what’s hard, and helping you rediscover the strength and clarity that’s already in you, even when it’s hard to see from where you’re standing.
Whether you’re facing redundancy, the end of a relationship, the shifting ground of midlife, or the quiet ache of an empty nest — my role is the same: to help you move from what was to what’s next, with confidence instead of fear.
Let’s Connect
Whatever brought you here — a job that ended without warning, a relationship that didn’t survive, hormones that have you questioning yourself, or a house that suddenly feels too quiet — you’re not alone in it, and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself.
If you’d like to talk it through, [book a Clarity Mapping Session] and let’s find out what your next step looks like.
